Its good to paint, but even better to paint outside, the great outdoors is the best studio you can have. I started painting in oils roughly half a year ago and learned quite a bit. I love landscape and architecture and it is really great when they come together. Doing these paintings opened more my eyes to light, colours and composition. When you work outside a lot of stuff happens in two or three hours you spend on one spot, light, weather changes, people wonder, animals pass by :)
